Terms of Service

1. Scope

These terms govern the use of the WDVC — Web Design & Visual Creation website (wdvc.be.eu.org) and the webdesign, visual creation, copywriting, and maintenance services provided by WDVC — Web Design & Visual Creation, Roeselare 8800, Belgium.

2. Services

We provide webdesign and development, visual creation (logos, identity, social visuals), copywriting and content, and ongoing maintenance and updates of websites. Services are delivered as fixed-price packages or custom quotes, alone or in combination.

3. Quotes & Orders

• All quotes are provided free of charge and without obligation.
• Work begins only after explicit written or email approval of the quoted price, scope, and timeline.
• Scope, deliverables, and revision rounds are confirmed before the project starts.
• Prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.

4. Confidentiality

• We treat all client briefs, files, content, and access credentials as confidential by default.
• We do not share, publish, or reuse client material outside the agreed project, unless permission is given (e.g. portfolio use).
• A formal Non-Disclosure Agreement can be signed on request before any files or access are shared.

5. Intellectual Property

• You retain full ownership of the content, brand assets, and material you provide.
• Deliverables created by us (designs, source files, copy) are transferred to you on full payment, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Third-party assets (fonts, stock photos, plugins) remain subject to their own licenses.

6. Revisions & Delivery

• Each deliverable includes two rounds of revisions; additional rounds are billed hourly at the agreed rate.
• Standard delivery times are estimates and depend on timely client feedback and content delivery.
• If a deliverable does not meet the agreed brief, we will correct it at no additional cost.

7. Maintenance & Support

• Post-launch support is included for a defined window after delivery (typically 30 days).
• Ongoing maintenance is available via a monthly care plan or hourly support, agreed in writing.
• Urgent or out-of-hours interventions may carry a surcharge and are confirmed before work begins.

8. Liability

• Deliverables are produced to the agreed brief. We are not liable for issues caused by client-provided content, third-party services, or post-handover changes made by others.
• Our total liability is limited to the value of the relevant order or invoice.
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of revenue or downtime.

9. Payment

• Payment terms: as agreed per project — typically a deposit at start and the balance on delivery.
• For larger projects, staged invoices may apply per milestone.
• Hosting, domain, and third-party fees are passed through at cost or billed to the client's own account.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Kortrijk, Belgium. For consumers: mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence apply where they provide greater protection.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
